Motivated by a passion to break away from corporate norms, Sarah Edwards founded Just Cushions in 2005 to create custom-made cushions tailored to order.

 

The family-owned business began modestly, with Sarah and her mother working from a backyard shed while her children were at school. Using a single domestic sewing machine, they handcrafted every cushion, ensuring each product met their high standards of quality and proudly carried the “Australian made” label.

 

Over time, partnerships with Melbourne upholsterers, furniture manufacturers, and interior designers helped the business grow into a trusted wholesaler within the furniture industry. Now operating from their factory in Boronia, the second generation continues to lead the business with the same commitment to producing premium, handcrafted products with a personal touch, all at competitive industry prices.
